Master Anthony Cordero — 5th Degree Black Belt

Master Cordero joined USSD in 2001 after trying various styles. What stood out was USSD’s personal attention, which helped him thrive. As a student, he showed natural leadership; helping others, gaining responsibility, and rising to chief instructor. His mission is to showcase how USSD adapts to each student’s unique goals and needs. He believes growth comes from flexibility on and off the mat. His advice: “learn how to be flexible and adaptable. When you learn to accept the highs and lows that life inevitably brings, you learn to succeed on a bigger scale.”
