Master Mattera demonstrates defenses against all 5 animals of the Shaolin Kenpo Arts.

Headmaster Mattera invited Master Frank Ley, Master David Lynton, Master Paul Taylor, Master Cal Carrozzi, Master Steve DeMasco and the Honorable Grandmaster Nick Cerio on stage for a final bow and to thank them for demonstrating their Martial Arts technique for the students.

After performing part of a Tai Chi set to generate increased levels of Chi, internal strength, the Honorable Grandmaster preformed the unbendable arm and Yang Tai Chi Push Hands.

The Honorable Grandmaster invited Headmaster Mattera on stage to recieve a special Masters Belt and to elevate him to the rank of Shihan in Nick Cerios International Martial Arts Association.

In appreciation of the Honorable Grandmasters lifelong dedication to the preservation and proliferation of the Martial Arts in America. This original work of art, honoring the lineage of Kempo, featuring William K.S. Chow, the Honorable Grandmaster Nick Cerio and Headmaster Charles Mattera, was presented to Grandmaster Cerio at the conclusion of the Legends of the Martial Arts seminar.

Autographs were given by Grandmaster Cerio and Headmaster Mattera at the conclusion of the largest seminar in the Honorable Grandmasters 35 year career. |
